Postponement of the 2021 New Year’s Day Youth Tournament

We really hope you are all keeping safe and well. Despite the unfortunate restrictions on training and playing in place we would still like to engage our brilliant Minis community to help out our friends at Po Leung Kuk this Christmas.

HKFC Rugby have a relationship with PLK going back to 2008 and have offered places & kit each year to encourage PLK kids based nearby on Leighton Road to help build their skills and confidence through rugby. Unfortunately due to COVID most of the kids have been in lockdown for the second half of the year and we would love your help to brighten up their Christmas. We are looking for new (or very nearly new) specific items below to offer as Christmas gifts to the 167 kids from years K1 to S6 (ages 3 to 18).  It would be great to try and get everyone a present !!

Items to donate

1. Notebook / writing pad (blank or single lined)
2. Coloring pens, coloring book
3. Snacks (chips, chocolate, candy)
4. McDonald’s coupon etc for the older children, lunch/tea after school

Please DO NOT wrap your gifts, our Charity team need sorting out and re-packaging by different age group before we sending out to Po Leung Kuk.

How & Where to donate

How: Socially distanced donation stations will be set up by category of gift above, please drop the items into the correct box unwrapped.

Where: Donation location will be located at Car Park A, Hong Kong Football Club (Address : 3 Sports Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong)

When: 12th and 13th December 2020, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 5pm. Do try and support this great cause and help to further strengthen the relationship between HKFC Rugby and Po Leung Kuk.
