    SECTION

HKFC has been instrumental in the growth and development of the game of hockey in Hong Kong and our Junior Hockey programme continues to play a key role.

HKFC provides coaching for all levels of ability leveraging the experience and expertise of the Hockey Section’s professional coaches, as well as parent volunteer coaches. HKFC has also been involved in the creation and development of a Youth Hockey League in Hong Kong as part of its continuing efforts to develop players through the Mini and Youth programmes into senior and elite levels of the game. Many players who have represented Hong Kong at national level came through the HKFC Junior Hockey programme.

    Mini Hockey

HKFC Mini Hockey welcomes boys and girls from the age of 6 to 12 and children of members and non-members are eligible for the programme. The aim of Mini Hockey is to provide children with a fun and enjoyable experience while learning and improving their skills. Participants are encouraged to play in tournaments throughout the season and HKFC currently has over 120 players registered across the U8, U10 and U12 age groups playing mixed hockey.

    Youth Hockey

HKFC Youth Hockey is for young players aged 12 to 18 years, is open for both HKFC members and non-members and is the bridge from Mini to Senior Hockey within HKFC. As well as providing an enjoyable sporting experience, the Youth Hockey programme aims to develop increased fitness and skill levels and to nurture talented players to develop into the elite levels of the game.
