The Pickleball Interest Group aims to foster and develop the fast-growing game of Pickleball here at the Hong Kong Football Club. We provide a vibrant and inclusive community for athletes of all backgrounds to enjoy this exciting sport, which combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. The Interest Group boasts a dynamic and growing membership and welcomes players of every skill level, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Our home is the Club's versatile indoor Sports Hall, where we play on multi-purpose courts year-round.
Competitive Pickleball
For those seeking a challenge, the Pickleball Interest Group actively fields teams in local Hong Kong leagues and tournaments. Our competitive players have the opportunity to test their skills across a range of formats, including Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, as well as specific Masters’ category tournaments. We are committed to developing competitive excellence and support our members to achieve their playing goals. If you are driven and want to represent HKFC on the court, our competitive stream is the perfect fit.
Social Pickleball
Pickleball is, above all, a fantastically social game, and our Interest Group thrives on its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We organize regular social sessions, including our popular Sunday evening gatherings in the Sports Hall, which are a perfect way to enjoy the game in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. All skill levels are welcome, and we periodically dedicate courts specifically for beginners to learn the ropes without pressure. In addition to these weekly social games, Interest Group members are invited to participate in internal competitions and events from time to time.
Join Us on the Court
Interested players are warmly encouraged to join the Pickleball Interest Group. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. New members without any prior experience will quickly learn the basic rules, etiquette, and fundamental techniques of the game in a supportive setting. It can also be quite the challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game when people become more experienced at playing. The game can be played as singles or doubles, making it a wonderfully adaptable and engaging sport for everyone.
